McNamara Professional Services (MPS) provides professional, discreet, and results-oriented investigative services to individuals, attorneys, businesses, and organizations throughout Southern California.

MPS was founded by Patrick T. McNamara, a California Licensed Private Investigator with more than 28 years of law enforcement experience. That experience provides a strong foundation in investigations, interviewing, evidence evaluation, report writing, surveillance, public records research, and the careful documentation of facts.

At MPS, every investigation begins with a clear understanding of the client’s objectives. Investigative services are conducted lawfully, objectively, and with careful attention to confidentiality. Whether an assignment involves surveillance, locating an individual, conducting background or public-record research, interviewing witnesses, assisting legal counsel, or investigating a complex factual matter, the goal remains the same: obtain reliable information that allows the client to make informed decisions.
